I can’t say enough about Dr.John Devine and his staff..He took over an hour to talk to me & my son.I am 72 and I get confused sometimes.He explained what was going on with my concerns.He asked me many questions that I never would have thought to tell him about.I think I might have waited 10 minutes to be seen..I previously went to a different urologist.I waited 2 1/2hrs to be seen.He talked to me for 2 minutes & told me I needed a procedure which included sedation.I trusted my gut and never made an appointment for the procedure.Needless to say I highly recommend Dr.John Devine.I did not have to have any procedure that included sedation…Dr. Devine took care of my problem.No other appointments needed.. Thank you Dr. Devine P.S. HE IS VERY NICE & KIND☺️

Dr. Devine is the best doctor I have ever had and that any type of doctor!! He takes the time to listen to you and explains everything!! He is very knowledgeable, kind and caring!! He did my surgery for a prolapsed bladder and a herniated bowel. The first 2 weeks of recovery were pretty rough, but Dr. Devine saw me twice during those first two weeks. He did everything he could to assure me that everything was fine, and he also gave me some strong pain meds to help me manage my pain! I would recommend him in the highest way possible!! His nurses were really nice and supportive!! The office staff was great too!! I’m so sorry that I had to say goodbye to Dr. Devine and his entire staff this past Monday because it was my final visit!!

I had a great first visit. Everyone in the office was so friendly. I did not feel rushed at all talking to Dr. Devine. I was looking for a doctor that would listen completely to my concerns and explain everything. Dr. Devine did both. He spent over 30 minutes with me discussing everything. After having a hysterectomy I received multiple treatments of Antibiotics for UtI after taking them over a long period of time other issues occured. No one seemed to get to the source of the problem! Someone recommended Dr.Devine to me.. in one visit he got to the source. I have been antibiotic free and UTI free for about two years now. I am so thankful!!… he explains things in layman terms as well .So I will do the same and gladly recommend Dr.Devine! As I am So so grateful !!

I had my 3 month follow up appointment with Dr. Devine yesterday. Other than being thrilled with the results of my surgery with everything working so much better than before, I’m sad that I won’t get to see Dr Devine anymore. He was truly the most attentive, caring and honest physician I’ve ever encountered in my 68 years of life! With vaginal prolapses making my life quite miserable, I’m back to feeling like I can do almost anything again. No longer worried about finding my next ‘pit stop’ when I’m out and about, I’ve been able to go 3-5 hours during the day without needing a facility. Slowly getting back into a nice exercise routine and not feeling that ‘bulge’ is truly amazing. Dr Devine was my second urogynocologist for a consult. I’m so very grateful I bypassed the first as I’m sure the outcome would never have been as perfect as this one! I will forever be indebted to Dr Devine for his brilliant abilities and genuine concern for his patients. You should have absolutely no concerns when seeing him, he is simply THE BEST❤️❤️❤️.

I am delighted with the care I received at Dr. Devine’s office. I was recently seen as a follow up to a hospital visit. The receptionist, Jill was helpful explaining what papers I needed to complete. She politely put her caller on hold to answer my question. Dr. Devine’s nurse Sue was quite disarming. She explained she had worked with the doctor first several years. Indeed, they had an easy working relationship. I felt very comfortable in the office and comfortable in Dr. Devine’s care. I recalled his at ease he made me feel when I was in the hospital having to make a very difficult decision. He reminds me of an old friend. He is affable, considerate, knowledgeable and helpful. I found him to be attention e to my needs and concerns for the future outcomes. I am very pleased and would easily recommend this office.

My first visit with Dr John Devine was a very pleasant and much appreciated Visit, he begin the visit by reviewing my Medical assessment that I had completed on-line prior to my office visit. He was very thorough In asking questions and in answering my questions. He’s very Polite and professional and explained everything very throughly . I feel like if the present plan of care with a new medication added that and with changes made in my present medication that I will be very happy in improving my condition. If by chance the new Medication Should not be effective I feel he will strive to find the right treatment for me. I would highly recommend him to any female having any bladder or other pelvic concerns . His bedside manner was awesome I had never felt so comfortable with seeing a new Specialist! I found Dr. Devine via an internet search. I was impressed with what I read and I had been looking for a Gynecologist in the Sarasota County area for over 9 months to no avail because they were not taking new patients, had retired. Then I hit the jackpot find in Dr. Devine. This doctor is not only an accomplished professional in his specialized field, but this was the surprisingly and happily the BEST doctor’s appointment I have had in decades considering that most doctor’s in any area specialization have you in and out in minutes. He and his staff were amazing. They had their systems down, he personally spent real time talking to me and asking questions AFTER he had already read my file. He examination and explanation of my diagnosis and my options was impeccable, respectful, and caring. I’m thankful to have found a doctor who prescribes for himself and his staff an attitude and methodology that is what has been somewhat lost and is rare in quite a few decades. He sets an “old” NEW tradition in what medical care should be.

I was a patient of Dr. Devine’s in Barberton, Ohio. After years of suffering with IC, Dr. Devine was the only doctor that could help me get relief. Since, he has been gone, I have not had another Dr. to assist me. My family doctor is wonderful, but does not have the expertise in this health issue. So, I get antibiotics to try & relieve pain, but it does not treat IC. Since, IC mimics UTI’s, I have not had anyone to help relieve or prescribe anything for these flare ups like Dr. Devine. I was diagnosed in 2016, with Sjogrens Disease, which IC is listed in with this autoimmune disease. My Rheumatologist, was always trying to help with this issue, but could not help like Dr. Devine… now sadly to say she passed away. Dr. Devine use to prescribe a medication called URN-C tablet – which after no dr. every hearing of it – since he left. I did some research and I believe it is not a prescribed drug any longer. It worked, I am lost without Dr. Devine. As soon as you would call him with this problem he would see you immediately. He would take urine specimen, by cath. & send to a lab. Not just do a urine specimen. He took his time explaining was very genuine. If there is anyone reading this and can tell me if in Florida he has treated & prescribed something that helps you with IC. I could give information to my primary physician and possibly get relief when flare-ups happen. If your looking for a top notch, caring doctor this is the man. I would travel to Florida to see him if possible.

Everybody in the office was courteous & very helpful. They made me feel at home & less apprehensive about my condition. I loved this practice from the minute I walked in the door! I was greeted immediately, by name, and the receptionist was patient when I said I thought I’d already completed my paperwork online. (Apparently I hadn’t) I was given the paperwork and didn’t feel rushed at all while completing it. Dr Devine’s nurse was delightfully pleasant, as was his assistant, Bree. Dr Devine was engaging from the moment he walked into the exam room! He was patient and thorough and addressed all of my questions and concerns, as well as a few I hadn’t thought to mention. He explained breast self-examinations in a way I hadn’t been told of before, and ordered my mammogram at the facility I requested (RAVE) Dr Devine even took the time to find the local pharmacy that offers the least expensive pricing on one of my more costly medications. In a time when medical professionals tend to be overworked and overwhelmed, everyone at this practice was friendly, attentive and relaxed. I’d give Dr Devine and his staff more than 5 stars if I could!
